Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to explain the certification requirements for structural design and construction in V zones.

Learning Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand considerations for the design and methods of construction certification.
• Understand the NFIP Free-of-Obstruction requirement for V Zones
• Know how to complete the V-Zone certificate
• Be familiar with other certifications required in V zones
