The purpose of this course is to describe foundation types suitable for coastal environments.

• Learn criteria for foundation design in coastal areas.
• Understand the performance characteristics of various foundation types in coastal areas.
• Know where crawlspace foundations are prohibited and why.
• Know where Solid foundation walls are prohibited and why.
